A Mining Title or a later order of the Minister in charge of Mines, granted on the recommendation of the National Mining Authority, may create a buffer zone of reasonable width in which the works of the holder of a Mining Title are restricted or prohibited in order to protect the works on an adjoining mine that is being operated or could be operated.
The creation of such buffer zone does not give rise to any right to compensation for the holders concerned.
