Holders of Mining Titles or Authorisations are required to immediately notify the MPCD of all substances they discover irrespective of whether such substance is covered by their title.
Any information so disclosed to the MPCD about the substances referred to in Chapter IV of Title IV of this Code is confidential.
Holders of Mining Titles or Authorisation must disclose to the department of information and geological and mining documentation, all geological, topographical, mining and other information collected during their works within the perimeter of their Title.
Holders of Mining Titles or Authorisations are liable for the payment of compensation assessed by valuation based on the harm caused and/or to outright revocation of the Mining Title or Authorisation for any failure to adhere to this requirement and in particular the refusal to disclose after a formal notice has been issued, or the intentional disclosure of false information about exploration, results.
