Anyone who does the following will be punished with imprisonment of between two (2) months and three (3) years and a fine of fifteen million (15,000,000) GNF to twenty-five million (25,000,000) GNF or one of the two sentences only:
- forges information on a Mining Title or an Authorisation;
- makes a false statement with the intent to fraudulently obtain a Mining Title or an Authorisation;
- destroys, moves or modifies, in any unlawful way, a boundary marker delimiting the perimeter of a Mining Title or an Authorisation.
This fine is tripled and the prison sentence doubled for subsequent offences committed.
