Mining companies and their direct subcontractors must benefit from the security necessary to enjoy peaceful enjoyment of the Title for the proper execution of their activities and their obligations.
Without prejudice to the provisions of the Criminal Code, any individual or joint act of sabotage, destruction or other assaults that target, workers, assets and other movable or immovable property of the mining companies and their direct subcontractors, give rise to a right, in accordance with the Civil Code, to compensation for any direct damage resulting from the aforementioned acts.
This fine is tripled and the prison sentence doubled for any subsequent offence.
