In bauxite mining, impact assessments focus heavily on deforestation, topsoil removal, and rehabilitation planning. In gold mining, they examine cyanide management, water quality, and community displacement risks. In iron ore mining, dust and noise impacts on surrounding communities are scrutinized, while diamond mining assessments often address marine or alluvial ecosystem disruption.
